We are Monopol Boyz
In the south of Sweden in 2003, Monopol Boyz was formed in a basement in the village of Jämshög when a group of friends came together for a game of Monopoly. Bad deals were made, people lost focus, and soon, a trashy cassette tape recording of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” was created.
In 2013, the band released two music video singles – “We could all be free” and “Dancin’ hoe”. Soon after, a few more recordings followed, leading to the band’s first record, “Ink in pink”, an EP with five songs. Over the years, Monopol Boyz has released a total of 11 singles, 7 music videos and 1 EP.
The band is always ready for new gigs and spontaneous Monopoly sessions!
